Now there’s only 1 thing left to do- prepare for it! It’s absolutely critical to prepare accordingly for the job that you want; it not only increases your professionalism factors, but gives employers a fantastic impression of you. Below is my complete list of how to affordably dress and prepare for interviews:
1. Go to bed early.
I know what you’re probably thinking; how does this link to dressing for an interview? Well, a lot of reasons, really. Finding the recommended 7-8 hours of sleep not only raises your sharpness, but makes you appear and sound more awake. You won’t have as many bags under your eyes and your eyes will be bright and inviting. And of course, sleep is 100% free!
2. Have an accessible accessory.
Large tote bags are the best thing you can have by your side during that interview. Not only are they stylish, but they’re incredibly affordable. I got mine at Rue 21 for $7.00, and similar bag bags can be purchased at Walmart, Target, etc.. By an”available accessory”, I mean put that thing to use. Put your resume folders, water bottles, business cards, etc. inside! You will seem more prepared and ready for the interview too, which gives off a terrific impression to employers.
Get a lint roller at the Dollar Tree for just $1.00, it might be a massive lifesaver! When I kiss my dog goodbye, I might end up having large amounts of fur all over me that I obviously do not want. On the other hand, you might have just washed your clothes and have lint all over your match. Both situations are not perfect, but there are affordable solutions for you. Lint rollers will take it all off; they are literal magic! Again, only $1.00 at Dollar Tree. I would also put this on your bag bag just in case!
4. Have a hair tie with you.
Last thing at Dollar Tree to remember to get, I promise. Sometimes your hair does not turn out how you want it to, the weather is crappy and making your hair curled, or it’s blazing hot out and you need to be comfortable. I swear I could have a thousand hair ties and still forget to remember to bring you when I need it the most. Thankfully, Dollar Tree always has unlimited amounts of hair follicles for just $1.00. You also receive an average of 30 hair follicles per package, which can be convenient for future interviews. This is a good thing to keep in your wrist or tote bag.
